The first phase of the galvanized steel wire project of Shougang Shuigang Metal Technology Co., Ltd. was officially completed and put into operation in August 2025. The project, with an investment of 150 million yuan and covering an area of over 10,000 square meters, has built a 12-stand multi-functional high-strength steel wire production line and a 16-line high-speed hot-dip galvanizing or zinc-aluminum alloy production line along with supporting facilities. The products it produces, such as 2400 MPa high-strength anti-corrosion galvanized steel wire and steel strands, can meet the demands of the water conservancy, power, bridge, and mining sectors in the southwest region. The high-speed hot-dip galvanizing process and intelligent equipment adopted by the project are at the advanced level of the industry. The intelligent pretreatment system can deeply clean the surface of the steel wire, and the single-wire single-control gas and electromagnetic wiping technology can precisely control the thickness error of the zinc layer, enhancing the anti-corrosion performance and service life of the products.

Hebei Iron & Steel Group Zhangxuan Technology has also made a significant step in market expansion by reaching its first cooperation with a key customer in Changchun and successfully signing a 1,000-ton high-zinc galvanized wire order for the construction of high-standard farmland in Jilin. This order covers five types of products, demonstrating the company's strong ability in product customization. Facing a tight 10-day delivery period, all departments of Zhangxuan Technology closely collaborated to ensure on-time delivery.

Technological innovation is also a key driving force for the development of the industry. Tianjin Wanda Yuanyang Technology Co., Ltd. has obtained a patent for "A Continuous Constant Pressure Water Supply Hot-Dip Galvanizing Water Cooling Device". This device ensures uniform supply of cooling water through a pressure regulator, effectively enhancing the cooling effect and product quality of galvanized steel wire. Its precisely controlled nozzle design reduces water consumption and energy consumption, and the simple structure of the equipment is easy to maintain, achieving energy conservation and environmental protection while lowering operating costs.

In terms of market demand, there is a huge gap in the galvanized steel wire mesh market in the southwest region, with an annual demand of 200,000 tons and an existing capacity of only 30,000 tons. Ordinary galvanized nets have a high scrap rate of 40% due to zinc layer shedding and poor corrosion resistance. Against this backdrop, Sishun Hot-Dip Galvanized Steel Wire Mesh has stood out, topping the sales chart in the Anping industrial belt for six consecutive months, with a market share of over 57% in large-scale breeding and government infrastructure projects. Sishun has reduced zinc consumption by 18% and carbon emissions per ton by 21% through its intelligent galvanizing production line, meeting energy efficiency benchmark requirements. Its products have shown no red rust in a 720-hour salt spray test, far exceeding industry standards.

In addition, the continuous hot-dip galvanizing production line of Hunan Chengyu has achieved a successful trial production in one go. The project has an annual production capacity of 450,000 tons of 90% CQ + 10% DQ hot-dip galvanized (GI) home appliance plates with specifications of 0.35 - 2.0*900-1265mm. It adopts the improved Sendzimir method + horizontal furnace design, and it took only nine months from design to commissioning, setting a new industry record. RuiMa Intelligent utilized 3D simulation design technology to optimize the entire line design, applied simulation technology in the design of the annealing furnace to optimize the temperature field, and adopted an innovative model of standardized design, factory prefabrication, and on-site modular installation to ensure the efficient advancement of the project.
